The USW–Universal Service Weapon–is a semi-automatic, striker-fired, suppressor-ready pistol chambered in the popular and effective-to-suppress 9mm. This unique platform bridges the gap between pistol and submachine gun and was designed specifically for police officers, Gendarme, low-visibility soldiers and intelligence officers requiring a concealable pistol-sized platform capable of SMG-like precision, effective range and control.

The handgun features a 4.3-in. threaded barrel in the popular 13.5–1 LH metric thread pitch. The pistol also boasts a removable optic pocket compatible with the Trijicon RMR footprint, allowing the addition of any optic compatible with this popular interface. Suppressor height iron sights come standard on this platform, with the rear being drift adjustable.

The USW frame is constructed of a mixture of rubber, polymer and alloy and provides a naturally pointing 18-degree grip angle for easy indexing and effortless on-target alignment. A flat-faced, arched and lipped trigger shoe represents an advancement in ergonomics and contributes to the light, smooth trigger pull. A railed 1913 dustcover provides an ideal mounting surface for a white light or laser aiming device, and the pistol comes with one 17-round magazine.

USW-A1 combines the size of a duty pistol with the extended range and accuracy of a 9mm police carbine. Engage targets effectively at 250 feet. The USW comes equipped with Aimpoint ACRO® Micro Red Dot Sight, and spring-loaded folding stock
